Black Soul

By Lady Harken

Alucard walked up the corridor, to the stairs leading to his father's throne room. The same stairs he, Trevor Belmont and the others had ascended over three hundred years ago when they were here to defeat Count Dracula.

The stairs were not there. They had crumbled down, on the roof of the entrance corridor of the Castle Keep. Alucard sighed.

What has happened here....? He thought. He had to agree Maria's thoughts about the castle - it certainly wasn't like he remembered it to be. It was a creature of chaos, changing its form every time it appeared.

He looked up. The upper end of the stairs was more that twenty feet away from were he was standing. He shook his head. Closing his eyes, he seized his cloak, concentrated for a brief moment and then turned into a bat. He flew up, and as he reached the upper end of the stairs, he turned back to his human form.

The hallway was empty, except for a big wooden table. He stood there for a while, knowing what was waiting in the next room. Richter. Richter Belmont, descendant of his old friend Trevor. He smiled at the thought. Trevor... He had been dead for a long time now. Now, Richter was here. He had defeated Count Dracula five years ago but the castle was here again. And Richter wasn't here to destroy it, but to rule it.

No, that was not it. Richter was here because he was controlled by something. Alucard took the Holy glasses Maria had given him. He knew he's have to go against Richter and fight him. But he was not here to kill Richter. He had to break the spell, free Richter from whatever was controlling him.

Alucard turned to the Sword familiar who was following him. "Stay here," he ordered. Richter would surely attack, and he didn't want the familiar there. It would surely start to defend him and attack Richter. He didn't want that.

Checking his equipment for one last time, Alucard walked into the throne room. Richter was there, sitting at the throne of the Lord of the Darkness. He stood up.

"I've been waiting for you," he said, smiling evilly.

"So it is you..." Alucard took a deep breath. "But why is a Belmont planning the resurrection of Count Dracula?"

Richter folded his arms and laughed softly. "Count Dracula rises but once every century and my role is over. If I can resurrect him, then the battle will last for eternity!"

Suddenly, he grabbed his whip and took a step towards Alucard.

"If those are your true feelings, then so be it!" Alucard touched his sword, but didn't draw it. He took a step back.

No. Do not kill him. That is not Richter, he thought. Something is controlling him. But... how can I...

He had no more time to think. Grinning fearlessly, Richter stepped towards him and quickly lashed with his whip. Alucard jumped aside. He didn't have much time to think as the Vampire Hunter attacked again. Alucard evaded, then drew the Holy sword he was carrying.

Something... Somewhere in here... But what? I should be able to see it...

Richter interrupted his thoughts by attacking again. He felt pain in his side and heard a tearing sound as Richter's Mystic whip tore through his coat. He stumbled backwards... And then, he saw it. A green, transparent orb with a weird green aura floated in the air above their heads.

There. I must destroy it...

Alucard leaped into air and lashed with his sword. He barely missed the orb. Very quickly, he evaded Richter's boomerang that was about to hit him. Richter laughed.

"Stand still, you vampire bastard. That way it won't hurt as much as it will now... Hydro Storm!!"

Alucard reacted by grabbing his cloak and holding it to cover his head. As he was only a half vampire, Richter's special attack didn't damage him as much as it could have, but it still hurt. The rain of Holy water drained energy from his vampire part, and he felt dizzy for a while.

Somewhere outside the castle, thunder could be heard. Alucard turned to see Richter and prepared to hit the green orb.

Richter wasn't where he had seen him last time. Quickly, he turned around looking for him, only to notice that it was too late.

The special attack had bought Richter enough time. He grinned and stroke his enemy again, and again until the half-vampire fell down to his knees. Laughing like a maniac, Richter continued. Alucard screamed in pain as his right hand was wounded by the whip. He dropped the Holy sword and fell down to the ground.

Richter stopped as his enemy fell. He smiled coldly, picked up the sword and threw it out of the room. Slowly, he drew the short sword he was carrying and raised it to kill the vampire.

"Now die, you son of..."

Suddenly, he stopped. He took a step back and sheathed his sword.

"I can kill you... now, or whenever I want. But how about we have some fun first..."

Alucard lay on the floor, trying to breathe. He had dropped the Holy glasses and saw them lying a few feet away. Pain made him close his eyes. The wound on his right hand was bleeding badly... He was about to lose consciousness.

Then... He felt Richter working with his arm. The vampire hunter was binding the wound. Had he broken free of the spell?

"Richter?" Alucard opened his eyes, only to see the Belmont smiling evilly.

Richter touched Alucard's face. "Beautiful... very beautiful indeed." He leaned down and kissed him.

Alucard tried to move back. Richter grabbed him around his neck and kissed him more passionately.

"Wh.. what are... you...."

"Shut up." Richter pushed him against the stone floor, opening the buckle that was holding his cloak. "I figured I could use you for something before I kill you..."

"But wh-"

"Quiet!" Richter slapped him. "You little bloodsucker are going to do exactly as I say..."

Grinning even more evilly, Richter moved his hands lower. Suddenly, he ripped Alucard's coat and shirt open. The half-vampire tried to fight back, but the dark-haired man slapped him again. Alucard stopped moving. He was hurt and tired. And shocked. He had expected Richter to kill him, but this...

The vampire hunter leaned back, took off his gloves and studied his victim. Alucard's white shirt was red from his own blood. His skin was pale. The few long, red marks on his side told Richter where his Mystic whip had hit.

"Hmmm... very nice." He pressed the half-vampire against the cold floor and moved his hand across the other man's chest slowly.

Alucard closed his eyes, only wishing to pass out. Richter leaned down to kiss him again, and moved his hand lower.

"Let's see what we got... in here..." He placed his hand between Alucard's legs and started stroking gently. He smiled as he felt the response. "Feels good, eh?"

The white-haired man opened his eyes, lifting his head a little to see what the other man was doing.

"Richter... no..."

Richter grinned again. With a sudden move, he ripped open the front of Alucard's pants, exposing the half-erected member.

"My my. Someone sure is on the mood today..." Richter said. He pulled the half-vampire's pants lower, then leaned closer. Teasingly, he started to kiss the tip of the organ.

Alucard's head fell back to the floor. "Richter... ple... ase... No..."

He tried to resist the pleasure from the touch, but couldn't. My gods... has it really been... 300 years...?

"You like this, don't you?" Richter said, moving his left hand lower, between the half-vampires buttocks. As he found the small opening, he pushed his index finger inside violently, causing Alucard to moan in pain.

"Argh... Rich...ter... no.... aah..."

"Shut up. I'll make you want it..." Moving his finger carefully, Richter started to stroke Alucard's organ with his right hand. "Well? You like it now?"

Alucard didn't answer. He closed his eyes, trying to escape into unconsciousness. But the things Richter was doing to him kept him awake. He hated himself for the fact that he started to respond, pushing himself against Richter's hands.

"Ah, so you do like this after all..." The brown-haired vampire killer grinned triumphantly. "Let's see... how you like... this." Richter pushed another finger inside. Alucard moaned, shaking his head.

"No... don't... Richter... Please, s-stop it..."

"Don't what? Oh c'mon, I know you like it. See, you wouldn't be so responsive if you didn't..."

Alucard stopped fighting and tried to relax. Take what you want, then it'll be over...

But at the same time his mind tried to deny it, his body was taken over by the feeling of extreme pleasure. "Richter... No... aaght... pl-please..."

"Please? What? Are you begging me now? Hmmpt. I guess you're ready enough..." Richter withdrew his fingers. He grabbed the half-vampire by the shoulder and turned him face down.

"I might as well... take you now..." The vampire hunter opened his belt buckle and lowered his pants a little, exposing his own erected member.

Alucard tried to turn around, realizing what was happening. "Richter, no, don't..."

The dark-haired man pushed him back down, and pushed the whole length of his member brutally inside Alucard, making him scream.

"I've told you to shut up, haven't I..." Richter moved his right hand to Alucard's mouth, suppressing the screaming. "There, that's better..."

He kept moving in a rhythm. Alucard tried to resist his feelings, but soon found himself pushing against the vampire hunter in the same rhythm, moaning silently.

Richter laughed. "You like this, you vampire bastard... Good..." He closed his eyes, starting to move more rapidly.

The half-vampire had totally lost the control of his body now, every move taking him deeper into the ecstasy. Richter lifted his hand away from Alucard's mouth and laughed again. "Feels... so good, doesn't it..."

"Rich...ter... Aah... no... ahn...."

Alucard clawed the ground. His hand seized around his cloak hard, and he almost tore it. He had lost his sense of time... and lost the awareness of his surroundings. The only thing he could feel was Richter thrusting into him. He heard the Belmont laughing again and saying something, but couldn't concentrate enough to understand. His release was sudden, hard and almost made him lose consciousness.

The blue-eyed vampire hunter laughed again, but continued moving against the half-vampire. Next thing Alucard knew was Richter releasing inside him. Then he slackened on the floor, unable to take any action.

"That was... nice..." Richter pulled himself away from the half-vampire and got his clothes back on. He knelt beside the white-haired man and turned him around, grinning.

"But..." The brown-haired man grinned as he unsheathed his sword and moved it to Alucard's chest. "Unfortunately, I'll have to kill you now..." Richter pushed the sword lower, preparing for the last strike.

The thunder was still circling around the castle. Lightning flashed somewhere close, snapping Alucard awake from his half-fainted condition. He opened his eyes slowly, seeing how the lightning flashed in the room. He was about to fall back into the slumber, giving up and letting Richter kill him, when he saw it.

The lightning flashed again. In the next flash, he saw it clearly. The green orb that floated above them. Using his last strength, he concentrated to call for his familiar, raised his hand and pointed at the orb.

Outside the room, the sword familiar heard the call and reacted. It turned and flew across the room through the air, hitting the orb.

There was a sound of a loud crash as the green orb shattered into pieces. From somewhere, a scream could be heard as the dark priest lost control.

Richter dropped the sword just when he was about to pierce Alucard's heart with it. He stumbled backwards and fell down holding his head. Alucard rose quickly, gathered his clothes and moved to check Richter.

Before he could take one step, a transparent image of the dark priest Shaft appeared in the middle of the room.

"You've defeated me," he said with a voice that was filled with evil. "But all is not yet lost. The resurrection of Count Dracula is at hand!"

The dark priest laughed, and then the image of him disappeared. Alucard shook his head, glancing at Richter direction. The vampire hunter had finally gotten back on his feet, but looked around, confused.

Suddenly, they could hear a rumbling sound. It came from outside... They both looked out from the window.

Clouds circled above the castle. A wierd-looking portal opened in the middle of them... Abruptly, another castle emerged from it. An inverted castle.

The next few seconds felt like an eternity. Then Richter fell to his knees.

"No... What have I done..." He looked at Alucard in disbelief.

Someone came running from the other room. It was Maria, who had watched the appearance of the inverted castle from the lower platform of the stairs. She had just managed to climb up to the upper level. She looked at the two men and smiled. "Thank you Alucard, for saving Richter."

Richter looked at the other man, shaking his head.

"Alucard...? You're... Alucard? The same Alucard who fought alongside with my ancestor Trevor Belmont? But... That was over three hundred years ago!"

"No time for small talk." Alucard took a deep breath and nodded towards the other castle. "Is the person who controlled you in that castle over there?"

Richter looked outside. "Yes... I think so."

The half-vampire turned to face the young woman. "Maria, take Richter and leave here. I'll finish this."

Maria looked at him for the last time. "Alright... Good luck!"

She helped Richter up and helped him out of the room, to escape from the castle.

Alucard watched as they walked away.

I hope they can make it out of here... And... I... hope you can live with what you've done, Richter. I just want you to know... that I don't... I can't hate you for it.

He sighed and turned around, continuing towards the end of the hallway. His work was not finished yet.

END.

Author's notes:

Yes, really - Richter and Alucard. Back when I wrote this I had never seen any Castlevania yaoi and thought they make a nice couple.

Anyway. Despite the fact that I've written a lot of fics now, this was my first ever lemon fic. That means, this really was the first lemon I ever wrote. I just finished a few other scenes later and had Elmina edit the fic, so that's why it took so long to put this up.

Well. Probably wasn't a very good fic, but anyway.
