Please! Really talk to Kazuki.

That's what Maya had told him, and Soushi couldn't say no. He knew he needed to talk to Kazuki, even if he had no words. He walked through the Alvis corridor, trying to figure out his feelings.

Kazuki had returned to the island. Kazuki understood better now. He had said so, and Soushi also knew from the short moment they had been crossed when Kazuki had defeated the Festum.

Soushi had said that he didn't believe Kazuki would return; he couldn't have admitted even wanting Kazuki to return, or needing Kazuki to return, no matter what. If it was out of pride or if he had felt hurt, he wasn't sure now, but Kazuki was back. He had both needed and wanted Kazuki to return, and there he was, back on the island, currently being held in Alvis while Commander Makabe decided what they would do about him.

The fact remained they needed to talk.

What was he supposed to even say, Soushi didn't know. What were they supposed to talk about? He had thought about it a few times before falling asleep; how he'd probably tell Kazuki off for running away or maybe he'd... He discarded the thought. It had just been him at late hours, desperate to figure out the situation and finding no way out.

Almost there, and he still didn't know what to say or what to talk about. Maybe Kazuki had something to say instead; maybe they just needed to face each other and didn't need to say a thing.

He was the one who wanted stability. Kazuki knew it; Kazuki had given it to him, and he had given it to Kazuki. Neither of them could find it again if they didn't talk. He stood in front of the door, knowing Kazuki was on the other side.

They would talk.

END.
