CoincidenceBy Lady HarkenToday wasn't one of the better days Guy had had since moving to Grand Chokmah. It was quite enough that Peony was having him do meaningless tasks, but having to drag himself outside the town and over to the forest just because his fabulous highness' precious Jade - the rappig this time, not the Colonel - had gone missing. The damn thing was in the palace somewhere, Guy was sure of it, but Peony had happened to hear one of the nobles mention something that looked like a rappig outside the city, and here he was now, stuck looking for something that most certainly was not there. The soldiers around had not seen anything, and Guy headed to the side areas where there was no one around, mumbling a few curses to himself. He didn't mind the work, but this... "...Why are you here?" A familiar voice asked all of a sudden, and Guy spun around, turning to look at the man standing next to a tree nearby. "Asch," the blond muttered, then sighed, feeling a lot better for some reason. "Oh just work. I could actually ask you that you know. I mean, kind of unusual to find you here. Okay so you were in town like last week but..." Guy trailed off, not really sure about that. Said knowledge of Asch being in town happened to be limited to finding the redhead in his bed and finding him gone in the morning, and he wasn't sure if that had been a dream or not. Asch shrugged. "Business," he replied. He stared at Guy for a moment, appearing curious. "You... don't look too normal you know." "Oh trust me, you don't want to know about it," Guy said, managing a grin. Frustrated beyond belief might've been a better way to put it, but he wasn't going to tell Asch that. "Oh," Asch said, stepping forward. "Well, some coincidence to meet you here," he added, turning away. "Never mind me." He was about to walk away when Guy suddenly grabbed him and pressed him against the tree. "Coincidences suck," the blond muttered, then grinned and kissed the other man. There were, after all, better things he could have been doing than waste time searching for some silly pet.
