XmasBy Lady HarkenWesker stopped by the door and leaned against the frame, folding his arms. "It's almost midnight, William," he called to the younger man. "The staff party's over. You can stop working now and go to sleep." "Almost done," the younger man mumbled as a response while organizing some samples. "So how was it?" "Decent. Stupid. Whatever? Like Umbrella's Christmas parties ever are I suppose," Wesker said, studying his friend. Birkin was always like that; work came first. "Oh and for this, you're going to the New Year's party. Then I get to ignore everyone and work all night." Birkin looked up for a moment. "Yes I know, we have a deal. Fine, I'm done," he added then, putting the samples away. "Sleep, you say? It's not that late yet... Or wait, is it? What did you say, midnight?" He mumbled something unclear while making his way to the door then glanced up. "Huh. The hell's that anyway?" Wesker looked up. "Oh. A mistletoe. One of the lab assistants thought it would be fun to put one there. Why?" "I know what it is," Birkin replied, almost annoyed. He didn't care for having any xmas decorations around the labs, but he glanced at it again then looked at the older man. "So what are you going to do about it?" Wesker looked at the younger scientist for a second with an odd smile. He then grabbed William, pushed him against the door frame and kissed him almost violently. "That count?" He asked after a while, holding the younger man there. Birkin smirked. "I suppose," he replied. "Well. Are we going to sleep or what?" Albert Wesker smirked in return, letting go of his partner. They both knew quite well they weren't exactly going to just sleep tonight.
