Distraction

By Lady Harken

Long hair was so damn inconvenient for a swordsman, William decided as he sat on the bed and brushed his student's blond hair. It got messed up when they had sex, and it was often him who had to deal with it, since Hugue seemed to be too lazy to do. There might've been some other reason, but no matter what, it was inconvenient. Hugue insisted on having long hair, while his Master had suggested to cut it several times, since it would in his opinion get in the way during fights. The blond was of course doing just fine with long hair, but that didn't change William's opinion.

All right, there was a few good points to it - long hair looked quite lovely on the swordsman, and there was always how William sometimes ended up grabbing it during sex, and... The Professor smiled to himself as he continued what he was doing. No, no no, it was inconvenient. He should've told Hugue to cut it, or better, get rid of it when the younger man slept or something.

...But then again it was very beautiful and he never got himself to get anywhere close to cutting it. The way Hugue looked when tossing his head back while they had sex, and then - what was the reason again why he did this? William stopped for a moment then continued brushing the blond hair. Because he liked doing it, he admitted to himself. Inconvenient. In the way. Messed up. Why had his darned student not ended up cutting it while dancing around with the long blade, his hair flowing freely and...

"Master?" Hugue asked. "What are you doing?"

William blinked as he caught himself deep in thought. "Oh nothing. Just, you know you really should cut this, it's too long and gets in the way and you'll end up slicing it off someday you know, it's-" He rambled on and continued to brush it, appearing annoyed.

He didn't notice how Hugue smiled just a little, then just sat there and let the older man continue. William also didn't realize he had been brushing the same bit for over five minutes now - and his student closed his eyes, not about to notify the Professor about that fact.

Inconvenient, indeed.
