Late at NightBy Lady HarkenIt has to be at least 11 PM by now, although Hugue didn't bother to check the time. It was late enough for him to know that it was too damn late, and late enough that he had told the older man to go to sleep at three times already. He wasn't going to bother for a fifth time, so the fourth would do. "Master. Late. Bed," he called to the Professor, who was deeply concentrated on reading a large book and writing notes as he did so. There were four other books opened on the desk; that meant one more book than there had been the last time Hugue had stopped by, he noted. That had been back on the third round to tell him to go to bed, when William had been all 'Just this one page here'. The only reply he got was another "I'm almost done," before William picked up one of the other books to check something from it. Hugue waited for another minute, not that William was showing any signs of moving anytime soon. The swordsman smirked and took a few steps closer, then moved quickly to the table, jumped at it and placed his hands on the edge of the desk. William looked up on that moment, and Hugue continued the move, flipping over the desk and ending on up on the older man's lap, straddling him. "Hugue! That could be dangerous," William scolded him. "And you know, I was reading that," he added, trying to reach for his book on the desk. The blond smiled a little. "Correct," he said. "You were reading. Not anymore. To bed, now, or else." "Or else what?" The Professor asked, looking almost annoyed. Hugue didn't bother replying but instead grabbed the older man by the hair, pulled his head back and kissed him. He figured William could draw his own conclusions about the answer to that question.
END.
