The Misadventures of Soushi's Mixed-up FileChapter 5"Delivery!" Mizoguchi called at the Tomi Clinic door after knocking on it and getting no answer. "Apologies for being so late, we had a couple of other deliveries to make... ...Uh...? Hello? Is anyone here?" Even with the lights on, the house seemed empty, and Mizoguchi peeked into the doctor's office just to confirm that Dr. Tomi wasn't in. That was a little strange, seeing she had ordered food in. Maybe there was some kind of medical emergency? The fact that the computer was on and there were files and such around supported this theory, and he shrugged and put the food on the side table. "She better come back soon if she wants this to be still hot, though," he commented to himself. "Ah well, she can always warm it up... Hmm?" There was a familiar-looking small purse and a scarf on the table, and his eyes fixed on the items. Those were Maya's; he had seen both the purse and the scarf on her several times before. "Now now, Missy," he stated. "Did you have to go out on an emergency as well? Forgetting your purse like this... You're usually more careful." Well, since she was supposed to be showing up at Rakuen, he could do her a favor and take them with him, he figured. There was a file next to the scarf, and he picked it up, assuming it also belonged to Maya. A log file? An entry was open, and he stopped to take a look as it mentioned something about Rakuen. "Date: 23/xx/2150," he read aloud. "It had been approximately five days and fifteen hours since our last sexual activity, so I performed oral sex on Kazuki in the Rakuen bathroom on his break. It only took three minutes and twenty-five seconds before he reached orgasm. In comparison to other instances that I have timed and recorded, this was well below the average time it usually takes. I wonder if he has sexual frustration? I should make sure to take care of him more often." Just what was this? It looked like a log of some kind. But what was this... thing about Kazuki, in the Rakuen bathroom? After all those times Maya had denied anything Kazuki-related, things were about to take an interesting turn. Mizoguchi laughed out loud then shook his head. "You've got some nerve, Missy," he stated to himself. "In Rakuen too, of all places..." He picked up the purse, the scarf, and held onto the file. Oh, Maya was so totally going to hear about this, he thought to himself with a grin on his face as he left the clinic to make his way back to Rakuen. Kazuki would get his share of ragging as well, but Maya was definitely never going to hear the end of this.
"Do you really think she wrote that?" Rina asked after a moment. Seri shook her head. "Don't you think it was a little too... analytical for erotic fantasy," she questioned. "It was like a real log or something, and seriously, who writes down fantasies in stupid format like that?" They sighed in unison, not really wanting to think about it more before they'd come to some weird conclusion about the whole thing just as a certain long-haired man passed by them. Their eyes locked onto him, and the looks on their faces turned horrified.
On the way, he passed Seri and Rina who were sitting on a set of stairs and discussing something quietly. It was only a few seconds after he had passed them when he realized they had stopped talking and were now looking at him like they had seen a human-sized Festum. Which wasn't that far from the truth, but that was beside the point right now. Soushi had already gotten a similar look once today, and he stopped, turned around and retraced his steps until he was standing in front of the two. Neither of the girls were moving, and a quick look at them made him rather suspicious - Seri had a bandage on her knee. "Did you two visit the Tomi Clinic tonight, by any chance?" He inquired without any kind of a greeting. Straight to the point, but that gave the girls no other options but to give him an answer. "Ah, we..." Rina muttered. "Seri tripped and hurt her knee..." Soushi kept his eyes on them. "And did you, by any chance, see any log files there?" The girls looked panicked for a moment, but he wasn't about to leave without a reply. "Did you? Where was it?" "On the table at the doctor's office!" Seri blurted out. "We didn't really look or anything!" "Are you sure?" Soushi questioned. Both girls nodded, nervous, and he gave them one more look before shaking his head a little and heading off. All right, those two might have gotten a glimpse of the file's contents. There was no point in scolding them further, though, as this all was his fault in the first place. At least the file was confirmed to be at the clinic. First Kenji, then Dr. Tomi, and now those two? Just how many people were going read that log of his, Soushi didn't even want to know. What was up with the island, anyway, if people felt the need to look at other people's personal logs? Well, it was his mistake not putting a password on it, but why would he have done that when that file was never supposed to leave his desk drawer. He scolded himself further as he walked all the way back to Tomi Clinic again. The place was as empty as ever, and he headed straight for the doctor's office. Nothing had changed, though, and the file nowhere to be seen - this after the girls had apparently seen it on the table. It was not on top of the cabinet, either, not that Soushi believed it would have been there after the little incident. This made no sense, now. Dr. Tomi had said it was in the office, and Seri had claimed it was on the table. Why wasn't it there, then? Nothing here had changed since his last visit. ...Or wait. Now that he thought of it, something had definitely changed. The small purse and the scarf from earlier were gone, and there were a couple of dishes he could have recognized from anywhere. It was Dr. Tomi's food order, fresh from Rakuen. Well, the freshness of the food could probably be debated, considering Dr. Tomi hadn't been in for a while and there was no indication of when it had been brought in. Soushi contemplated his options for about two seconds before heading out again, silently cursing himself in his mind once again for being so careless. On the other hand, now he definitely knew where that misfortunate file of his was. But on the other hand, Maya was the second-to-last person he wanted to see it. |
